Everton to remember Alan Ball on the tenth anniversary of his death

Everton FC will host a tribute game to remember one of the club's star players on the tenth anniversary of his death.

The Alan Ball benefit match is due to take place on Saturday October 7 at Goodison Park.

Sir Geoff Hurst, Colin Harvey, Lee Carsley, James Beattie, Peter Crouch, Francis Jeffers and Danny Cadamarteri, are all confirmed to play on the big day. The club has said that more names will be announced over the coming weeks.

Ball made 250 appearances for Everton and netted an impressive 78 goals for the blues.
