Rory Taylor from the Wirral has missed out on the chance to play the lead in a new version of Andrew Lloyd Webbers' musical Jesus Christ Superstar.
He lost in last night's final on ITV1 to Ben Forster, 31, from Sunderland.

24-year-old Rory Taylor from Heswall made it through to the last three hopefuls of the ITV's talent show "Superstar" yesterday, competing for the lead role in Jesus Christ Superstar.
He said: "I just want to say thank you to everyone at home who has voted and really supported me as it means an awful lot to me.
"I've been playing and grafting away over there for so long and I'm sure I've seen many of you all before, but I just want to say a massive thank you."

If Rory wins he's play the lead role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar.
