Anti- cuts protestors have taken to the streets in two major demonstrations in the North west.
Trades Union members joined protest groups marching in Manchester and Liverpool against the Chancellor's Autumn statement, claiming the poorest are being hardest hit.

Across Greater Manchester cuts and closures in the NHS are being opposed from Trafford, Wigan, and Bolton. The Manchester march will be supported by health campaigners from across the region.
