This is the moment armed raiders smashed their way into a jewellers in broad daylight and left just two minutes later with more than £100,000 of goods.
The masked men used a battering ram to burst through two sets of high-security doors at Cha-Cha Jewellers on Cheetham Hill Road in Cheetham Hill, before smashing three glass cabinets and taking jewellery.
The four men - who were carrying knives, crowbars and a gun - then jumped into a getaway car which sped from the scene and was later found abandoned less than a mile away.
The raid took place shortly before midday on Tuesday and police are now investigating.
Two terrified members of staff were in the store at the time and triggered a panic alarm which set off a siren and filled the shop with thick smoke.
The raid comes almost exactly a year after crooks targeted the same shop but failed to smash their way through the front door with a sledgehammer and were fought off by a member of staff.
It was a terrifying experience. They came in with such a level of force that you just didn’t know what was going to happen. “They knew exactly what they were going for - even with all the smoke they smashed our three most valuable cabinets and took everything. They were in and out in a couple of minutes.
