The family Anthony Grainger are demanding answers about the circumstances surrounding his death. The 36 year old was shot by Greater Manchester Police in the Cheshire village of Culcheth following a planned operation into armed robberies. Investigations found he was unarmed.
"Their son was driving a car not armed not weapon and he was shot dead and we want to know why," Keith Dyson family solicitor.

Shooting family demand answers
The family of man shot dead by police say they need answers about the circumstances surrounding his death. 36 year old Anthony Grainger was shot by an armed officer from Greater Manchester Police in the Cheshire village of Culcheth following a planned operation into armed robberies.
An initial investigation has found he wasn't armed. His family say Mr Grainger had no convictions for robbery or any other violent offences.
No weapons found in Grainger vehicle
The IPCC has confirmed there were no weapons found in the vehicle in which Anthony Grainger was shot dead.
The police watchdog, called in as a matter of course when an officer discharges a firearm, confirmed two officers fired their weapons in the operation.
