Well, now you can thanks to the British Film Institute which has launched a new service, the BFI player, enabling the public to view thousands of unseen films dating back to 1895...for free!

A new film about a legendary Cheshire concert by the Stone Roses is to be screened at this year's London Film Festival.
The film, Spike Island, is named after the venue of the May 1990 gig by the group from Manchester who recently reformed for comeback shows.
The movie is about a group of young musicians desperate to watch the Stone Roses' legendary show.
