Film about Stone Roses concert to premiere

A new film about a legendary Cheshire concert by the Stone Roses is to be screened at this year's London Film Festival.

The film, Spike Island, is named after the venue of the May 1990 gig by the group from Manchester who recently reformed for comeback shows.
