Fans' leaders claim erecting netting to prevent missiles being thrown at players would be a knee-jerk reaction.

Police investigating a racist tweet sent during Sunday's Manchester derby have arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence. An investigation was launched following a message directed at a Manchester United player. He's been bailed pending further enquiries.
Cheshire Police say the M6 southbound between J16 and J18 will remain closed for around a further four hours.
