WATCH: Stars come out for official opening of Take That musical

A couple of weeks ago we saw Take That surprise fans at the Opera House in Manchester at the world premiere of their brand new musical the Band.

Well last night they took to the stage again - with some of their celebrity friends - for official opening night.

The five members of the group who star in the musical were discovered on TV talent show Let it shine hosted by Graham Norton. He was at the opening night along with a host of other stars and rubbing shoulders with them all was Our Entertainment Correspondent Caroline Whitmore.

Take That make surprise appearance at Manchester Opera House

Take That surprised fans in Manchester on Monday night when they took to the stage at the finale of their new musical.

Mark, Gary and Howard performed some of their biggest hits at the Opera House to a delightful crowd.

The musical featured stars of the boyband Five to Five who were found through the TV talent show, Let It Shine. It tells the emotional story of a group of 16-year-old girls whose beloved boyband sound tracks their lives.

Stage is set for Annie Get Your Gun

Manchester theatre goers will be the first to see a new production of Irving Berlin’s classic musical Annie Get Your gun.

The show stars Jason Donovan, Emma Williams and Norman Pace and is being staged at the Opera House ahead of a nationwide tour.

The musical is famous for its timeless classic songs including There’s No Business Like Show Business and Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better.
