Schoolchildren in Liverpool are using the popular video game 'Minecraft' to design and make 3D objects.

Pupils from Liverpool's Studio School are making real-life versions of virtual creations, from a game that allows players to create Lego-style objects ranging from furniture to vast buildings.

'Minecraft' is a global phenomenon, having sold 33 million copies worldwide.
