Boxing Day means shopping for thousands across the North West.
A lot of big shops across the region are expected to start their sales today.
Prepared shoppers have been queuing since the early hours outside Next in Manchester, which opened at 6am and The Trafford Centre which opened its doors at 8am.
Hundreds of people were queuing to get into high street stores in Manchester and at the Trafford Centre this morning.
Some had even camped overnight in order to be one of the first people in the stores.
See below just some of those eager shoppers:
Manchester's Arndale Centre saw 185,000 shoppers through its doors on Boxing Day.
It was one of the centre's busiest ever starts to the post-Christmas sales.
Between midday and 4pm alone, more than 90,000 people went there.
The day started with queues outside Next, which started its sale at 6am.
The new 2012 car registrations are out today. Their sales boost makes March the most important month for car dealers in the region. They're hoping to improve on last March when ten percent of all new cars in Britain were bought in the North West.
