A national charity based in Warrington is calling for suicide prevention classes to be made compulsory in schools.
It comes as figures show the North West has the highest rate of suicide in the country.

The North West has the second highest rate of male suicide in the UK. With around 525 men committing suicide every year. And studies show there's a marked increase in suicide rates among middle aged men.
