The funeral of Coronation Street actress Liz Dawn will take place at 2pm on Friday October 6 at Salford Cathedral, her family have said.
The service will be conducted by Father Brendan Curley, the former dean of Salford Cathedral and a friend of Dawn and her family, alongside the cathedral's current dean, Father Michael Jones.
Following the funeral, the family will have a private family committal.
Dawn, who played Vera Duckworth in the ITV soap for more than 30 years, died on Monday aged 77, her family said in a statement.

The 73 year old who has already been diagnosed with incurable lung disease was taken to hospital from her flat in Whitefield after complaining of chest pains.
Her husband Donald has told a newspaper, she's had a slight heart attack and is confident she'll recover.
A spokesman for Coronation Ttreet says eveyone on the show wishes Liz a speedy recovery and send their love.
