Olympic hero targets September 9th return
The Tour de France and Olympic gold medal winning rider is launching his new Bradley Wiggins Foundation with the Ride with Brad event.

Chorley's Tour de France and Olympic time trial champion Bradley Wiggins will compete in the Tour of Britain which starts today. It marks his first competitive action since the London games. The tour begins in Ipswich and comes to the North West next week.

'Ride with Brad' marks the launch of the Bradley Wiggins foundation set up by the Tour de France and Olympic champion.
Riders can pick a 160Km or 100Km route starting in Barnoldswick.

He appears on a stamp which goes on sale today.
And the Royal Mail will paint a post box in his honour outside Chorley Town Hall.
He's already been offered the freedom of the borough.
