Police in Woolton death investigation appeal for men to come forward

Detectives investigating the death of a man in Woolton on Tuesday are appealing for three men caught on CCTV near the place where his body was found to come forward. The 54-years-old was found collapsed in the street at the junction of Woolton Street and Allerton Road.

"I would like ask the three men in these CCTV images to please contact me. Our CCTV enquiries have led us to believe that you may have walked close to this man sometime in the early hours of Tuesday morning. We are trying to piece together the chain of events that led to this man being found collapsed in the street and what, if anything, you saw in the early hours could be really beneficial to our investigation. I would like to reassure you that you are not in any trouble - we simply want to speak to you as a witness so we can understand what has happened."
