Blackburn Rovers fans protested as their team lost its relegation battle - by letting a hen loose on the pitch.
The Rovers faithful threw a chicken draped in the club's colours on to the pitch before they lost to Wigan and were relegated at Ewood Park.
It is thought letting the hen loose was a protest at Blackburn's Indian owners, chicken meat processors Venky's.Fans have been urging Venky's and Kean to leave since last season, when Rovers narrowly avoided relegation to the Championship.
Wigan shot stopper Ali Al-Habsi and Rovers striker Yakubu managed to trap the bird so play could resume.
