Rome 1960: The GB football team made up of working class players

The official announcement of Team GB's football team for the London Olympics has put an end to a piece of pub trivia that's been around since 1960.

That was the last time Britain had an Olympic football team. They won 1 of their 3 matches, and was comprised of working class, amateur footballers.

Daniel Hewitt tracked down a couple of the players with no medals but plenty of memories.

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs is expected to be officially named in Great Britain's Olympic football squad later. Liverpool's Craig Bellamy and Manchester City's Micah Richards are also likely to be picked.
