The parents of Anuj Bidve, the Indian student murdered by Kiaran Stapleton, says his killer has got what he deserved.
23-year-old Anuj was shot at random by Stapleton on Boxing Day as he was walking through Salford with a group of friends.
A jury at Manchester Crown Court found him guilty of murder.
During the trial he displayed no remorse, saying he shot Anuj because he had the biggest head of the group and that he should have taken a taxi that night instead.
It took a jury at Manchester Crown Court less than 2 and a half hours to convict Stapleton.
