Police are searching for the owner of a dog which bit an 8 year old boy in a Merseyside park.
The child was taken to hospital with wounds to his lower leg causing after the attack in Walton Park yesterday afternoon.
Officers investigating believe the dog to be a white bull mastiff with brown patches. They say they need to speak to the owner described as a man aged between 18 and 25, of stocky build with a shaven head. He was wearing a black t-shirt and was last seen heading towards Walton Village.
