A man has been arrested on suspicion of starting a flat fire in Greater Manchester that left a woman fighting for her life in hospital with critical burn injuries.
A man who lived at there was also burned following the blaze at the address in Redbrook Road, Ince.
Emergency workers evacuated around six nearby flats as firefighters battled to extinguish the flames. They remain at the scene and are working to make the area safe, police said.
The man arrested is being questioned on suspicion of causing arson with intent to endanger life.
