The Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean is said to be holding talks over his future at the Lancashire side.
Rovers are second in the Championship table, but have fallen short of the 16-point target reportedly set by the club's owners, Venky's.
Kean has faced calls from fans to resign after the club was relegated from the Premier League last season.
