Care home staff in Lancashire investigated
Six members of staff from a Lancashire care home have been arrested by police investigating allegations ranging from neglect to physical abuse.
The inquiry at the Hillcroft Nursing Home on Throstle Grove in Slyne-with-Hest near Lancaster began in May.
Police say they have been investigating complaints involving the care of patients with Alzheimer's disease.
The six people arrested include a matron - none are currently working at the home.
All were suspended before the police investigation began.
