Man charged over police death graffiti

A 33 year old man from the Isle of Man has been charged with criminal damage following an investigation into graffiti that was daubed on a garage door in Castletown in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The graffiti allegedly made reference to murdered Greater Manchester police officers. PC Fiona Bone and Nicola Hughes. Fiona, lived on the island before moving to Manchester, was shot dead along with her colleague while on duty in September.

The man will appear at Douglas Courthouse on Monday 22nd October 2012.
