Wiggins apologises for gesture

Tour de France and Olympic champion cyclist Bradley Wiggins has apologised for a gesture he made as he returned home from hospital. He'd been treated in hospital for injuries he'd sustained after being knocked from his bike near his home in Chorley. The driver has been summoned over the crash.

Wiggins knocked off bike

Bradley Wiggins is in hospital after being knocked down in Lancashire. The 32 -year -old gold medallist was thrown off his bike by a car pulling out of a petrol station. It happened in Wrightington Police say he is stable but has injured his ribs.
