Former Manchester Central MP Tony Lloyd has been elected Greater Manchester Police and Crime Commissioner. The Labour candidate polled 51.23% of the votes.

Former MP for Liverpool Wavertree Jane Kennedy won in the first round with 70,884 votes, around 56% of the vote.
The results of the five new police and crime commissioners in the North West are expected to be announced later today.
