Appeal to release SAS solider

The Attorney General won't review the decision to jail an SAS soldier despite an appeal by the Defence Secretary. Sergeant Danny Nightingale who's from Crewe was given a gun as a gift from Iraqis he'd been training.

Philip Hammond wants a review of whether the prosecution for illegal possession of a gun was properly handled. But the Attorney General says it would be inappropriate.
