Chester marking the start of the festive season
Chester is signaling the start of the festive season this evening. A parade featuring 300 schoolchildren carrying lanterns will make its way through the city.
The event marks Chester's Christmas lights switch-on and the opening of the Christmas Market. Street entertainers will perform between 6pm and 7pm.
