Three judges have retired to consider the appeal of an SAS sniper jailed for possessing a pistol.
Sergeant Danny Nightingale from Crewe was handed for 18 months for having the gun and live ammunition.
A court martial heard the gun was a gift from Iraqi soldiers he'd been training.
