Man who died in M6 crash named as Alan Bullock
A man who died after a crash on the M6 on Monday morning has been named as Alan Bullock from Blackpool.
A Cheshire Police statement said:
– Cheshire Police statementAt 11.23am on Monday 11th December emergency services attended a 9 vehicle collision on the M6 southbound approaching junction 16 at Barthomley.
As a result of this incident 11 people received injuries. Sadly Alan Bullock, aged 54, from the Blackpool area died at the scene from his injuries.
A 33-year-old woman from the Sheffield area and a 50-year-old man from the Blackpool area remain in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
Cheshire Police is appealing for any witnesses to the incident to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 338 of 10th December.
