A police officer who died after his car crashed into a tree as he responded to an emergency call has been named as PC Andrew Bramma.
He'd transferred from Greater Manchester Police to North Yorkshire about four months ago.
The accident happened n the village of West Tanfield, near Ripon, yesterday.
