92 year old with dementia 'left injured on floor'

A family say they're shocked at the lack of care they claim was shown to their 92 year old relative.

Isabelle Howell who has dementia was left lying seriously injured on the floor of her home despite paying for daily visits by a healthcare company.

Isabelle's family say care workers from Saga Homecare left when she didn't answer the door - and then failed to inform them.

Saga Homecare have given us a statement about this case:

"We are very concerned to hear that Isabelle Howell has not yet returned home after her fall. It is very regrettable that we were unable to gain access to her home on the morning of her fall. We are investigating the circumstances and will be in contact with Mrs Howell's family."
