A pensioner from Chorley tasered by police who mistook his white stick for a samurai sword has started legal proceedings against Lancs Police. Colin Farmer, 63, said he was hit in the back as he walked through the town in October.

Tasered blind man claims damages from Lancashire police

A blind pensioner has started legal action against Lancashire Police after officers shot him with a taser after mistaking his white stick for a samurai sword.
