Family rescued from burning house by firefighters and neighbours
Early this morning firefighters were called to a fire in an end terraced house in Leigh.
When the fire crews arrived at the scene they found a family trapped in the upstairs front bedroom, with a fire developing in the kitchen below.
A man, woman and a child were rescued from the property by the fire service. Before fire crews arrived three further children were rescued by neighbours.
