WEATHER: Update for Monday

After a wintry night across many parts of the region the snow continues to affect Cumbria the Lancashire Pennines today, possibly another 2-5cm in places. TransPennine routes very hazardous.

It will be drier in the south and west of the region. A cold and cloudy day for all. Highs of 2C


Despite a few wintry showers for the coast and Isle of Man tonight, many places will be dry with a few clear spells, lighter winds and very low temperatures.

A widespread hard frost and ice.
