Derailed train catches fire on a Manchester bridge
A train has derailed and caught fire on a bridge in Manchester city centre.
It happened on Windsor Bridge, close to Salford Crescent.
The train belonged to West Coast Railways - a heritage railway company. Only the driver was on board and their condition is unknown.
Network Rail said the incident will disrupt rail services as all trains on the line have been stopped.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue service were called to the scene at 2:37pm.
Four fire engines are tackling the blaze in Salford.
