Police in Lancashire are appealing for information after a 4ft wooden bear was stolen from a garden in Cleveleys earlier this month.

The theft took place sometime between 6pm on Thursday 3rd January and 2pm on Friday 4th January when the bear was stolen from an address on West Drive, Cleveleys.

PC Simon Munton said: “This is an unusual theft which has left the owners very upset as they have owned the bear for over 20 years and it has great sentimental value."

Anyone with any information should call Lancashire Police on 101 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or on-line at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
