The Bishop of Liverpool has announced his retirement.
The Right Reverend James Jones will step down in August on his 65th birthday.
He chaired the Hillsborough Independent Panel which exposed the full truth of the football tragedy.
The Bishop of Warrington will step into his role until a permanent appointment is made.
