Jury go home for day after two guilty pleas from Cregan

The jury has now been sent home for the day after Dale Cregan dramatically changed his plea to guilty for the murders of PCs Hughes and Bone.

The trial of a man accused of the murder of two police officers in Greater Manchester has begun. Dale Cregan, 29, is accused of killing PCs Nicola Hughes, 23, and Fiona Bone, 32, in a gun and grenade attack, on September 18 last year.
