Police investigating the death of a man in Salford have released his name.
Travis Barber, a 19-year-old personal trainer, was found at the house with a number of injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A post mortem is yet to take place.
“We are still in the very early stages of our enquiries and we are working to establish the full circumstances that led to his death.
“Travis was fairly new to the area and worked as a personal trainer in Stockport. If you know him and have any information about his whereabouts over the weekend please get in touch with the police.
“I understand that people in the area will naturally be concerned about what has happened. I want to reassure them that we have a team of officers investigating this matter and we have also deployed additional local officers to the area."
