Greater Manchester Police have released a statement as they investigate the death of a teenager.
Travis Barber, 19, was found dead at his home on Lightoaks Road in Salford at about 9.20pm on Sunday.
“I would like to reassure the local community that there is an extensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of Travis Barber and a post mortem is currently taking place.
“We are still trying to establish exactly what has happened and are not ruling out any lines of enquiry at this stage, including the possibility that there is no one else involved.
“Our thoughts are with this young man’s family at this difficult time.
“We do not believe there is any threat to the local community but there remains an increased police presence in the area to reassure the community. I would reiterate that anyone who has any information regarding this incident should contact us as soon as possible."
