Stockport children swap the classroom for the farmyard

Has the horse meat scandal made you worry about where your food comes from? Well schoolkids across the North West are spending time on farms to see just where ingredients start out.

Teachers say pupils are taught to eat a better diet, and to value fresh produce over ready made meals and junk food. There are five school farms in the North West experts are asking if the scheme should be copied across the country. Sarah Rogers reports.
