Police are warning members of the public to be on their guard after a convicted murderer went on the run from prison in Lancashire.
44 year old Brian Lynch disappeared on Thursday afternoon during a day release visit to Preston.
He was serving a life sentence at Kirkham Prison.
Lynch was convicted of killing Chi Yeung Yip in Manchester in 1988.
