SAS sniper's conviction quashed

Judges at the Court of Appeal have quashed Sgt Danny Nightingale's conviction.

He was jailed in November for 18 months by a military tribunal for illegally possessing a handgun – but was later freed after the sentence was reduced to 12 months and suspended.

Now he faces a retrial.
