Man critical after taxi crash
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was knocked down by a taxi in Liverpool and suffered serious head injuries.
It happened on Long lane in Fazakerley, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The 29-year-old is critically ill in hospital. The driver of the taxi stopped at the scene and has been co-operative with the police.
