Monday sees an area of rain, sleet and hill snow in the north easing during the day. Many places will be dry but cloudy. Feeling cold with highs of 5C. A cold northeast breeze.
Overnight many places dry up with a few clear spells. A touch of frost possible with rural areas down to -2C. There is a moderate risk of ice on untreated surfaces under clearer skies.
A cold start to Tuesday. Some brightness around initially but showers will develop and push north. These will be patchy but wintry in nature, wet snow falling over hills. Highs below average at 5/6C.
