An inquest into the death of the 'Lady In The Lake' killer Gordon Park is due to start. Park was found dead in his prison cell - five years after being convicted of murdering his wife Carol with an ice axe and dumping her body in Coniston water.

"Lady in Lake" killer inquest verdict

"Lady in the Lake" killer Gordon Park took his own life in prison, an inquest jury ruled today.

Park was found asphyxiated in his cell more than three years ago at HMP Garth in Leyland, Lancashire, where he was serving a life sentence for the murder of his first wife Carol.
