Eight men have been charged with drug offences after dawn raids across North Liverpool yesterday.
It follows a nine month investigation into gangs thought to be involved in drug crime in Norris Green and Croxteth. Operation Bronze was launched after Joseph Thompson was shot dead last year.
Dean Brown, 23, Michael Sillitoe,19, and Lewis Renshaw, 21, all from Norris Green, were charged with conspiracy to supply heroin and cocaine along with Paul Packham Ryder, 26, and Phillip Ryder, 31, who are both from Melling.
Louis Doswell, 22, from Old Swan, was charged with cocaine possession.
Jamie Mac Thompson, 21, and Christopher Scully, 24, both from Norris Green were charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis. Mac Thomson also faces charges for a public order offence.
They are all due before Liverpool Magistrates' Court this morning.
