Today is a rather cloudy and cold day with a brisk northeast wind, making daytime highs of 4C feel more like -3C.
A few snow showers will continue to feed west in the wind although many places will be dry with occasional brighter breaks, more likely in the west.
The Met Office have issued an ICE warning for The Pennines and Peak District for this evening and overnight as further sleet and snow showers could give 1-2cm. Any snow melt in these areas today will refreeze overnight as temperatures dip to -3/-4C.
