A murder investigation is underway after a man's body was found in Lancashire. Police were called to The Lea on Queen Street in Darwen in the early hours. They found the body of a 60 year old man. Detectives are questioning a 31 year old man on suspicion of murder.
"I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and who saw or heard any signs of a disturbance to come forward and contact the police. We have a team of highly trained police officers working on this investigation and we are determined to find out exactly what happened. We have specially trained family liaison officers working with the family to offer them support. We will be keeping them informed of the progress of our investigation."
