The Department of Health is giving half a million pounds to open a new children's hospice for north Manchester.

The money will transform the old Bury Hospice into a new one for terminally ill children and their families from Oldham, Rochdale and Bury.

We are delighted to receivethis news today. This brings our hopes of creating a much needed Children’s’ Hospice for North Manchester much closer.

Now that we have moved to our newHospice on Rochdale Old Road we have a unique opportunity to transform our oldsite on Dumers Lane into somewhere very special to offer palliative care forlocal children and their families.
