A young soldier from Lancashire has been killed in a bomb attack in Afghanistan.
Fusilier Samuel Flint, who was 21 and from Blackpool, served with the 2nd Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland.
He and two colleagues died when their patrol vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device.
